Church the Way it Was Meant to Be
You who stumble and crawl are as crucial to the Body as those who run with grace and ease. Not because of what you have to offer, but because of Whose Body you are part of.

I’m finding that the way of Jesus is actually that: a way of living that leads us to experience the greatest flourishing a human being can experience this side of heaven. And I’ve never been more optimistic about the future.
More and more I’m convinced that a truly powerful witness is not going to come from eloquent explanations of doctrine or passion for a moral or civil cause. It’s a sad truth that many churches are full of people who have professed saving faith in Christ, attended and served faithfully for twenty to thirty-plus years, taught Sunday school, and read their Bibles, but have not been transformed at all. They’ve gained experience in doing Christian things but haven’t actually grown as a Christian. They’ve mistaken experience for growth.
I’m not going to distract myself to death, and I’m not going to aimlessly and mindlessly wander through some digital world that robs me of experiencing this beautiful, divinely infused world God has placed me in. I’ve got to take control of my life rather than let my phone take control of me.
