Satan and his demons are very real and are waging war against God. As believers, we are involved in that war and if we are unaware of the authority we have, what we can and cannot do, then we usually end up on the losing side of the battle. That’s the point of this post: to shed some light on the authority that we have as believers and to equip you with the knowledge and faith needed to withstand the enemy’s attacks.
We’ve all heard it said many times that the American church has become known more for what it is against rather than what it is for, and as is appropriate, many church leaders have spoken out urging Christians to try and change this part of our reputation. But perhaps the key to changing the way that we speak to the world, is by changing the way that we believe God has spoken to us.
There is a peculiar glory about my Hayley. A glory that stands out from the rest because she is so not like the rest. Anybody that meets her knows within a moment that there is something different about her, and in that same moment they realize that I am obviously the more blessed of us. There are so many things about Hayley that go against the status quo. Here are but a few:
