There are virtually zero drawbacks to being on time, yet very many benefits. It is a completely and purely good thing to be on time:
- You can have two cups of coffee instead of one
- You don’t have to apologize
- You don’t inconvenience anyone else
- You can have a relaxed morning instead of a rushed one
- You can actually enjoy some music or a podcast on the way to your appointment
- You don’t mess up your make-up putting it on in the car
- You’re seen as more reliable and faithful by your friends and colleagues
- If you’re carpooling, you’re not responsible for others being late as well
- It’s much easier to handle problems that may arise when you’re not frantically trying to get somewhere
- You are obedient to the command to “make the best use of your time” (Ephesians 5:16)
